Aggborough

Kidderminster Harriers  P

Wolverhampton Wanderers  P

Match Postponed in mid-July over Wolves concerns of a shortage of players/fitness prior to the start of the season.

Club Secretary Richard Skirrow explained “We had originally intended to field a team at Kidderminster that featured squad players who had not been involved against Aston Villa the previous Saturday. However, because of the departure of manager Glenn Hoddle, and the difficulty in recruiting new players until he is replaced, we have a much smaller squad than anticipated. We can not ask senior players to play against Villa at Molineux on Saturday and again at Aggborough on Monday, with the first match of the new campaign just five days after that. We have made our sincere apologies to Kidderminster, and hope to take a team there for a friendly later in the season”.
