     Peter Adolph invented the table top game of Subbuteo just after the end of the Second World War. The collecting of Subbuteo memorabilia is an area of collecting in it's own, however, in 1954 a series of 24 cards were issued alongside differing team strips for the game. A second set of 24 cards were soon issued with an additional 2 cards added to raise the collection to a round 50.
     Wolves were represented twice in the series. Both the 65mm x 35mm cards are displayed below.
