WOLVES IN DETAIL
Pro Set was a company set up in 1988 specifically to produce trading cards initially for American based sports - American Football, Ice Hockey, NASCAR and Golf initially. In later years they also produced cards for Basketball, Baseball and from 1990 for 'Soccer'. There were other series film, music and TV, however, the company folded in 1994 when they filed for bankruptcy.
During their time they produce three 'Soccer' sets for the English market all of which Wolves featured in as detailed below.
A series of 328 cards covering principally the top flight clubs with anything from 8 to 14 cards for each club. Also covered were teams from the Championship and the 1st Division. All cards were 88mm x 64mm in size with Wolves represented twice.




A series of 100 cards which covered all 92 teams in the Football League. The front featured a player the featured club with their league fixtures on the reverse. Cards were 88mm x 64mm in size with 7 referees taking the series to 99, the rear giving a quick resumé of the ref's career. The final card was an England Team Group with fixtures for the season in the rear.

The final set was the largest in number and issued in two sets. The first set 230 cards covered Division's 1 & 2 with 4 Wolves players featuring. Series two numbered 249 cards which boosted all the Division 1 & 2 teams and added players from Division's 3 & 4 alongside an England Squad Puzzle, transfer updates and 4 'legends'. 88mm x 64mm in size again the second series featured 2 more Wolves players.
